The Toy drive is the generous donation of toys to provide  for children in need. Students drop off the toys in a toy box at the front of the school where they will be taken to the Warren Family Mission.

Senior Sarah Morrison does this benevolent act every year after inheriting the service activity when her sister Hannah graduated.

When asked why she takes time to perform such kindness Sarah replied, “I have always loved giving back to the community and helping others, especially kids. I do this because the thought of a child waking up on Christmas morning without any gifts breaks my heart. We are all very blessed and I want kids to wake up excited because they got a gift on Christmas morning.”

Sarah and her sister started the drive back when Sarah was in 8th grade and have kept it going ever since then.  As to the process of getting the presents to the kids Sarah had this to say, ” When I get to the Mission I usually drop off the toys and sometimes help separate them out.” The toy drive ran from the beginning of November and ended December 18.
