This 2025 Senior Spotlight includes Reagan Price. While her high school education is coming to an end, Price is ready to start a new chapter in her life. Price will hold onto all the memories she made at lakeview, as a friend, volleyball player, and student.
As a result of Price spending her high school years attending Lakeview, she feels prepared to start college. Price states, “Lakeview High School has brought me confidence as an individual. Even though my classes or practices can be hard, I feel prepared to go to college. I have learned how to build a work ethic, how to socialize, and other important life lessons like how to speak in front of crowds. I would not be the person I am today without Lakeview.”
Knowing that Lakeview has influenced her to become the amazing person she is today, she’s taken time to reflect on what she would’ve done differently if she was able to go back. And she shares some advice to the underclassmen. Price shares, “One thing I wish I knew as a freshman is to not worry about fitting in or how upperclassmen view you. Be as involved as you can. Go to every dance, try new sports, join clubs, and make friends because high school flies by. Cherish it while you can. Live in the moment, but take school seriously because it will only benefit you in the future.”
As Price continues to set a good example for the underclassmen, as well as her friends, she also has role models in her life who have impacted her. Price explains, “I would say Mr. Murphy influenced me the most over the past few years. Mr. Murphy has taught me chemistry for two of my four years here at Lakeview, but more importantly he taught me many life lessons. Murph not only helped me as a student, but as a person. He has made me smile on days when I did not want to be at school, pushed me to be the best version of myself, and helped me prepare for my future.”
Although moving onto new chapters in our lives can be very exciting, they can also be really scary and even sometimes upsetting. Unfortunately, graduating high school means leaving things behind while taking new steps forward. This doesn’t mean we have to forget about the memories we’ve made along the way, but we will surely miss them. Price expresses, “I am going to miss the people and events at Lakeview the most. I am excited to go to Findlay and start a new chapter but I will always reflect on stuff like Friday night lights with my friends.”
With Price’s senior year almost being halfway through, she makes it clear that she feels it important to cherish every moment of this pivotal year in our lives. She’s learned to appreciate and embrace the growth she’s made throughout the years, all while moving forward to the exciting opportunities ahead of her.
Price is very excited about taking her next big step in life and going to college to start her career. Her next important milestone is, “to go to the University of Findlay to continue my academic and athletic career. I am currently enrolled in a 6 year Physical Therapy Program where I can earn my Doctorate while still playing volleyball at the Division 2 level.”
All of Lakeview’s staff and students wish Price and the rest of our seniors good luck with the remainder of senior year, and with college! Lakeview celebrates not just the achievements of these individuals, but their hard work and extreme dedication they’ve taken to reach their goals. Good luck to Senior Reagan Price as she embraces the journey ahead!!
