Pick of The Litter – Tommy McAllister

Kelsey Lucas, Reporter

Senior Tommy McAllister is a great golfer, great student, and an overall well-rounded person. This golf season, Tommy averaged a score of 42. Although his season was full of highs and lows, he enjoyed his senior year of golf and rounded out his final season on high note. When asked what made his season so memorable, he said “One thing that made my senior year of golf most memorable was getting an eagle on my last hole as a Lakeview Bulldog.”

Not only did Tommy excel on the golf course, but he also talked about his big plans for after high school. He plans on becoming a nurse by attending either Ashland University or Westminster University in the fall of 2018, as well as getting his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Tommy is looking forward to taking the next step in his educational career, but said that he’ll miss hanging out with his friends during the school year. On the other hand, he said that he won’t miss the constant drama and stress that goes on in high school. His message for underclassman is to always get on your teacher’s good side, as well as to work hard and not procrastinate.

Considering all of his hard work and achievements, there is no doubt that Tommy McAllister will be successful in pursuing his future plans. Best of luck to Tommy on his senior year and future career.
