Senior Christmas Characters

Christmas is less than a week away, and with that being said, the senior class at Lakeview High School shared their opinion on who best represents these well known christmas characters.

The most “generous of them all”, according to Lakeview Seniors, is Jacob Chapman. Jacob represents Santa Clause this year and is well known for always being kind, helpful, and encouraging.

We all know Santa is a very busy person, especially around this time of the year, and he can’t afford to miss a stop or get lost along the way of delivering presents. Many know this guy by the song or the even the movie. Rudolph lights the way so Santa doesn’t get lost. Robert Coller was selected for the christmas character, Rudolph, because he helps people when times are tough.

Food always seems a little better around the holidays, especially baking cookies, but what about on a daily basis? Well, if you’ve ever found yourself  getting to be a little hungry sitting in class, Regan Rosenberger can help with that. Regan represents the christmas character, the Gingerbread because she always has some food/snacks on hand for whenever that “sudden crave for food” comes about.

It’s always nice to have a helping hand in life, and Santa sure has a lot of them. For this character, the Senior class chose Chris Altier as the Elf of the grade, because he is good with making things as well as fixing them.

Some love this time of the year, others absolutely hate it…if we’re talking about the weather that is. While Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, it also means that cold weather is in as well. Vinnie Rienzie was chosen for the christmas character, Jack Frost, for being the one who loves the cold weather the most.

We’re all familiar with the big old green furry looking guy in the movie and the start of the song, “You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch”, but this person actually isn’t mean at all. Tony Crish represents the christmas character, The Grinch, because while he might seem all big and tough on the outside, he actually has a big heart on the inside.

This season only comes around one time out of the year. It’s the prettiest, the coldest, and the time that students love the most because of snow. The person to make plans with on a snow day is Tyler Kollar. Tyler represents Frosty the Snowman for being the “best person to spend a snow day with.”

Along with baking cookies and wrapping presents, putting up the tree and decorating the house is another reason why christmas is such a fun and festive time of the year. Like the Grizwalds, Joe Gomez and his family go all out at decorating for christmas which makes him the perfect person to represent the Grizwalds.

Almost everyone, adults or children, are like little kids on christmas day. Some get more excited than others and that’s absolutely okay! Representing the christmas character Buddy the Elf, is Leah Manns for getting the most excited about getting gifts.

Decorating the tree is just as fun as dressing with christmas colors. The “Christmas Tree” for the senior class, is Karlynn Baker for being the person who dresses in all the holiday colors and styles.
