2019 Top Dog: Senior Carina Nicholas
March 8, 2019
Lakeview High School Senior Carina Nicholas has attended Lakeview Schools her whole life. Nicholas is a hard working, caring, and intelligent student. Nicholas takes College Credit Plus classes at Lakeview including American literature and Trigonometry. While she takes those, she she is involved in many other things. That’s what makes her a hard working student.
Nicholas has played softball since her freshman year, achieving many of her personal goals throughout these past 3 years and hoping this last year is just as successful. Her position is second base.
When not busy with all of her schoolwork and softball, Nicholas finds time to work at Chad Anthony’s Italian Grille and Pub as carry-out.
Nicholas plans to attend Cleveland State University to major in some area of the medical field. She will start out in the Exploratory Program because she wants to know more about the various options before she commits to a specific program.
Nicholas has many favorite memories of High school throughout the years. One of her favorite places to be during high school was in math teacher “Mrs. Prokop’s class through the years because technically I wasn’t in there. I was an aid, but we had lots of math fun. This includes food, laughs, and learning.” Also, another one of her favorite classes was in “Miss Bucko’s anatomy and physics class.”
Nicholas has a few words for the underclassmen, “High School goes by too fast; cherish it but still work hard because the grades can drop fast!”
