Due to the new release of the new iPhone 7 and the new Galaxy Note 7, the competition between the two has really gone through the roof. The iPhone 7 now sports a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 7 megapixel front facing camera, along with and IP67 water resistance and the A10 processor. Everything else is very similar to the previous year’s models which include a 3D touch display allowing you to do more with certain applications, a fingerprint scanner allowing you to unlock your phone, and IOS 10. IOS 10 is the biggest update to the software since IOS 7. The Galaxy note 7, on the other hand, has now come out with a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front facing camera. It sports a quad Core processor, allowing for multitasking 5 windows at once. The note 7 also sports 4 gigabytes of ram. Also with the note 7 you get IP68 water resistance and the equally water resistant S pen. Even with all these features in these two devices they both have downfalls. With the iPhone IOS software you get limited customization options and can’t view the bare bones of the phone which is important to people who may design games and apps. But with the Galaxy note 7 you may receive severe burns because faulty battery layout caused the batteries to explode. Fortunately, this has since been fixed.  But other than that they both work well, doing exactly what a phone user expects, so you can merely choose which of the devices suits your needs better.
