It’s that time of year again! The Lakeview Lady Bulldogs are currently in the midst of an exciting and exhilarating season. With a record of 10-5 and being second in their conference really brings such joy and happiness to the team and program.
Led by Head Coach Jason Lee, the team has really developed unity and excitement while playing the game. Right around the corner before we all know playoffs will be starting! This really excites the team! Junior Mackenzie Stowe states, “I can’t wait for playoffs, we’ve had a pretty successful season so far and I hope to see us make it far throughout playoffs and non regular season games”.
The environment has not only been super positive but also super healthy. This team has made improvements as well as change, to have a better future and a happy and healthy environment. Which is open to people who want to grow not only as athletes but as people
Junior Annabelle Humphrey states, “The coaches have given us so much support and drive to compete with all our opponents this season. They are always here for our team and really support and guide us through life not only as athletes but regular people as well.”
This season the team has only one senior, Hailey Anderson, who will be greatly missed.
Junior Isabella Isenberg states. “This season has really been a roller coaster but it’s been worth every moment. We’ve faced challenges with other teams and opponents but we’ve also grown so much as a team. I’m so proud of everything the girls and I have accomplished and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the season brings us”!
The hard work and dedication they presented in the pre-season really did pay off and help them tremendously! Annabelle Humphrey states “The pre-season really did help us out a lot this year, even though it was hard because there were other sports going on in the pre-season everyone who managed to come and practice really strengthened us. Our coaches really did help us out a lot this year as well, I am as well as my teammates are so thankful to have such positive and hardworking coaches who want nothing more than to help us be successful.”
This team really does demonstrate the sportsmanship of a successful and loving team. They really do support each other no matter what, which is really important for a team to demonstrate.
Junior Kalyssa Werner states “The bond we have as a team has strengthened our performance as a group tremendously and has created a motivating and exciting environment for everyone.”
With playoffs on the way the girls have been working extremely hard practicing and training for the next really important games. They’d love to see how far they can go this season in the playoffs.
Stowe states “I think we’ll have a pretty good shot at going far. I hope we all just work really hard to finish off our season and then see what we can do in the playoffs.”
These girls really do put on a great show! They really do play their heart out and play such a high intensity game that is worth watching! They would love everyone’s support so if you have a chance come and support your Lakeview Lady Bulldogs!
As this season progresses the Lakeview Lady Bulldogs continue to aim high and tackle their goals and opponents, with the goal of also making it far in playoffs. Their journey so far has really shown their hard work and dedication throughout the beginning of the season and pre season. We hope to see everyone come out and support them as they go out and tackle the rest of their seasons and head into playoffs.
