Although it’s only February, spring is coming up in the next few months and everyone couldn’t be more excited! There are so many activities to do in spring, especially when the weather starts to get nice again. One of the best things about spring break has got to be the break, even though it is a short amount of time everyone loves having those days off to relax and just enjoy not being in school.
Junior Nora Lewis states, “I can’t wait for spring, it’s definitely my favorite time of the year. There’s so many activities I can finally do as the weather starts to get nicer. I will finally be able to go on an outdoor run in the warmth instead of the freezing cold. I also can’t wait for spring because spring means prom!! This is my first prom and I’m thrilled, I can’t wait to wear my dress and have a great time with all of my friends”.
Junior Sophia Shuster states, “ I am really looking forward to spring and all the activities that come along with it. It’s been so cold that no one has really been able to do much. In spring I also start my indoor tennis at Avalon which I have really been looking forward to. But what i’m most excited for is spring break! I can’t wait to have a break from school to just spend time with my friends and family. I will not be traveling this year, my family and I will just be staying home. I plan on hanging out with my friends and just having a good break!
Junior Joss Burkey states, “ I am super excited for spring because that means track! Track is something I look forward to every year! It’s been hard to go outside and try to get a run in when it is super cold, so hopefully we have a warm spring. I can’t wait to get back into the season for track and see how the outcome is, I am hoping for a good and successful season! Spring also means spring break which I am really excited for, although I won’t be travelling I plan on spending time with my friends and family”.
This year most of our students plan on staying home for spring break, just spending time with their friends and family.
Junior Mackenzie Stowe says, “I am thrilled for spring and it couldn’t come any sooner! Spring means softball season and I can’t wait for that. This is the time I look forward to most out of the whole year. I can’t wait to start practicing with the team again and can’t wait to see the outcome of all the hard work and dedication we put into the season. Another thing I like to do when the weather gets warmer is go on walks with my dogs. It’s not very easy to do that in the freezing weather so when it gets warmer I finally can. I also can’t wait for spring break, I don’t plan on traveling this year just spending it playing softball and hanging out with my friends and family.
During spring is when track, softball and baseball games start, the Bulldogs would love your support so come on out and support!
Junior Adian Barnot says, “I am really excited for spring because I can finally go outside again! I’m also really excited because spring means school is almost over. This spring break my family and I plan on going to Destin, Florida, I’ve never been so I’m especially excited to go there. When I go to Florida I plan on trying seafood, which I’ve never had before. I also can’t wait to experience the really nice beaches everyone raves about.”
As expressed, Lakeview is super excited for spring and spring break and so many of our students have great traveling, sports and exciting plans for this spring and spring break!
