As the 2026 school year is reaching its final months, the Lakeview Senior Class is filled with a mixture of excitement, nerves, and nostalgia. After years of making memories, attending school events, and building friendships that will last a lifetime, it will be hard to say goodbye.
Yet, with every ending comes a new beginning, and the Class of 2026 is ready to turn the page. Whether that chapter includes college, trade school, or the military, each student’s future is shining brightly with endless possibilities ahead.
For most seniors, the question “What’s next?” has moved from a distant thought to a very real plan. Each student is preparing to take the next step toward their own future carrying with them the lessons, memories, and friendships that have shaped who they are today.
As graduation approaches, many seniors are reflecting on their time at Lakeview and looking forward to the opportunities that await them after high school.
Senior Ava Pappas expressed her enthusiasm for the future, saying, “I can’t wait for college! I plan on attending college at Kent State, I plan on majoring in business, and getting into medical or pharmaceutical sales after graduating!”
Pappas’ excitement is shared by many of her classmates, who are eager to see where their hard work and dedication will take them. As the school year winds down, the Lakeview Class of 2026 continues to celebrate their accomplishments while looking ahead to the next chapter of their lives.
Another senior, MaKenna Doran is equally excited to take the next step in both her academic and athletic journey. She shared, “I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Clarion University, where I’ll be playing on the women’s soccer team while majoring in business and minoring in marketing. Soccer has always been a huge part of who I am, so being able to compete at the next level while earning my degree means everything to me.”
Doran added that she is also thinking about her future beyond the soccer field. “I’m hoping to pursue a career in medical sales because it combines my passion for business, communication, and helping others,” she explained. “I want to build strong relationships, make a real impact in healthcare, and be a part of something that improves people’s lives. For me, this next chapter is about growth on the field, in the classroom, and as a future professional in the medical field.”
Another Lakeview senior, Ashlyn Miller, is preparing to take a different but equally meaningful path. Inspired by her desire to make a difference, she expressed, “I am planning on joining the Air Force. Joining would help me get into nursing school and come out and start my job. My mom has been such a huge role model in my life and has inspired me to join the medical field. I love to help people and I hope to do that in the future.”
As the countdown to graduation continues, the Lakeview Class of 2026 is cherishing every moment together. The mix of anticipation and bittersweet reflection is strong, but so is the sense of pride of how far they’ve come. Each student has taken a different path, yet all their journeys have intertwined to create a shared story of growth, friendship, and unforgettable memories that will last beyond graduation.
No matter where life takes them next, the Class of 2026 will always carry the spirit, memories, and friendships that shaped them throughout their years at Lakeview. They’ll move forward knowing the lessons they’ve learned will guide them along the way.
Though their paths may lead in many directions, the Class of 2026 will forever share the bond of being part of a lasting legacy of friendship and cherished memories.
